​I'm Katie Masters, owner and designer at Lintel Building Design & Drafting. 

​

​I have lived in all kinds of buildings. From a falling-down farmhouse to tiny apartment, brand new coastal retreat and a beautiful, ancient, converted stable. Each building has offered a different way and quality of living. It is this journey that has fuelled a love for light-filled, fun and sustainable spaces that also meet the needs of everyday function.​

 

In the Lintel Building Design & Drafting Studio, my priority is understanding the specific needs of each client and advantages of the site. I apply a philosophy of thoughtful design and sustainable living to the entire design process; from form and function, to construction materials, energy use and end-of-life recycling. ​As part of this philosophy, I include my clients in every step of the creative process to ensure that my work is exactly what they have in mind. The end result is an inspiring and liveable space that fosters connection to the new home environment.
